ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead. You will not just be executing tasks, but driving the entire technical vision end-to-end. We need a system-level thinker who is equally strong in Backend architecture and Infrastructure operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the end-to-end architecture and delivery of complex systems, ensuring seamless execution from initial requirements to production.
- Serve as the primary client liaison, providing strategic technical guidance and translating business needs into scalable solutions.
- Architect high-performance backend systems and manage cloud-native infrastructure, deployments, and proactive monitoring.
- Define engineering standards, drive architectural decisions, and mentor the team to foster a high-performing delivery unit.
- Optimize system performance and security through modern DevOps practices, including IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of industry experience with a thorough understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
- Solid grasp of secure coding, design patterns, and database architecture (schema design & advanced query tuning).
- Proven track record with major backend frameworks, specifically PHP (Laravel), Node.js (Express), or Python (Django/Flask).
- Demonstrated ability to architect and maintain cloud-based applications (AWS or GCP).
- Practical background managing web/app servers, utilizing Git/Gitflow, implementing Docker containerization, and establishing CI/CD pipelines.
- Outstanding interpersonal and proven leadership capabilities.
- Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, comprehensive documentation and specifications.
- Confident in spoken English, with the ability to communicate directly with clients.
- Highly accountable, professional, with a self-driven initiative in researching and adopting emerging technological trends.
PREFERRED:
- Experience working on projects for the Japanese market and an understanding of its rigorous quality standards
- Hands-on experience with modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or AWS CDK
- Professional certifications in Cloud Computing (AWS/GCP)
